DESCRIPTION

While Bev Bergeron is best remembered as Rebo the Clown on Mark Wilson's wildly popular “Magic Land of Allakazam” and “The Magic Circus” TV shows, he was also an accomplished professional magician in his own right. Bergeron headlined and directed the Diamond Horseshoe Review at Walt Disney World in Orlando for 15 years, and performed at other top venues around the world. He was also a consultant for theme parks and other shows. As a lecturer, Bergeron was always quick to share his considerable knowledge of magical entertainment. Over the 1950s, 60s, and later years, he produced a series of lecture notebook pages - each detailing a different pet effect of his. He then used these pages to produce various sets of lecture notes, as well as other publications. In this custom lecture note set, we bring you 16 different Bev Bergeron effects and other items. Five of the selected effects are with cards, including Bergeron's handling for "The Last Trick of Dr. Jacob Daley," which fooled Jay Ose and the Magic Castle boys. Plus, the ingenious "Floating Cards," created with Francis Martineau. A deck of cards is removed from its case and spread between the hands for a card to be selected. As a spectator reaches for a card, the spread increases in size until the cards seem to be floating between the hands! We also include Bergeron's trade show handling for the compass effect with a name (of a person or sponsor) written on a plain card, various glass of liquid productions including one with a goldfish, his version of the Kellar Rope Tie, a comedy bit with inexpensive paper wizard hats for kid shows, Astrol-O-Dial - a math based effect with an Astrological theme, plus performance tips, and more. 19 pages, concise instructions with illustrations by the author.
