3. ON THE TIP OF THE THUMB
The thimble being at the rear pinch, under cover of a wave of the hand bend the middle finger into the palm and insert the tip of the thumb directly into the thimble. Straighten the thumb immediately and separate it from the fingers as widely as possible.
